Product Development Engineer
Our Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing into production heating elements and sensors; including new products as well as modifications and extensions to existing products. With guidance from Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing and Management, the team is responsible for developing new designs handling all phases required to bring concepts into production.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Verifying product design. Check manufacturing drawings for completeness and accuracy. Perform engineering tests and submit products for screen and qualification testing in the lab.
- Coordinating new product development, debug and release.
- Preparing and following deviations and engineering change orders (ECO) per documented work instructions.
- Interfacing with internal departments (Manufacturing, Quality, Lab, Sales and Marketing) to ensure objectives are met in a timely manner and assisting by providing product information, engineering samples and technical advice. Also interfacing with suppliers and customers.
- Directing activities related to verification/validation testing of new designs.
